I recently got married on 10/12/2025 at Houston Hall, and the only reason I've waited this long to write a review is because I genuinely can't even put into words how INCREDIBLE of an experience I had with Houston Hall as my venue. From start to finish, my experience with the team was an absolute dream. When I first spoke to Carlita on the phone when I was inquiring about pricing, I left our phone call with such a warm, home-like feeling about this place and their team, so much so that I knew I needed to visit the space that evening.
Carlita and the team at Houston Hall truly want everyone who walks in those doors to feel like family, and this was felt throughout the entire wedding planning process. Carlita and Isabel are truly indispensable, and their quick response time to all of my questions throughout the year made a normally stressful planning process feel seamless. I haven't even gotten to the venue itself! I received so many compliments on the space, that contrasted with the all-too-common stiffness of the typical ballroom setting. We jazzed it up even more with string lights, but it truly did not need much else. We didn't even have to spend an arm and a leg on flowers because of the character the venue itself brings. Access to the bar and short waiting times to grab a drink were extremely important to us, and Houston Hall's long bar allowed guests to spend more time dancing, rather than waiting around for a drink.
I still am receiving compliments about the food, with numerous guests letting me know that it was the best wedding food they've ever had. We had a lot of guests with dietary restrictions, and Houston Hall was eager to accommodate these guests. This review is only a snapshot of the magic that was experienced that day. I could go on and on about how beautiful the ceremony space was or how delicious the cocktail hour apps were, or even how awesome the espresso martini towers were! But the true heart of this venue was the amazing, attentive, loving staff who hold your hand through every detail. We truly feel like Houston Hall will forever be a second home!
